How is the church life affected by COVID-19?Due to the current challenges related to COVID-19, our Sunday service and most ministries have been moved to a hybrid format (virtual and in-person) to keep our congregation and community safe. Read current updates about our ministries here.

Are small groups still meeting?Our small groups leaders are encouraged to work with their groups to keep meeting whether it is virtually or in-person by practicing social distancing measures. Sign up today or contact the church for more information.

What should I expect when I arrive at the church?Our team of ushers will greet and welcome you and other guests before the service. Feel free to tell us it's your first visit. New guest information cards are available so we can connect with you. Please ask for one!

Where can I park?There is a dedicated parking lot on Morrison Avenue across from the church and limited space behind the sanctuary. Street parking around the sanctuary is also free on Sundays.

How long is the service?The service lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes. Followed by the coffee hour.

Any dress code?Wear whatever that makes you comfortable. We are a church of everyday people. No judgement zone.

What about the coffee hour?We would love it if you stayed for our fellowship hour. Whether it's for 15 min or 1 hour, we'd be happy to connect with you. You can also enjoy some food, snacks, and beverages. We will answer any questions you may have during this time, should you want to know more about the church and our ministries. Open to guests and members. Update: we are currently not meeting for coffee hour due to the COVID-19 health and safety restrictions. However, we'd be delighted to briefly connect with our first time guests following service.

Is childcare provided?Yes. Nursery Service and Sunday School are available. We have a great team that takes care of our children so that parents can fully enjoy the Service. We have programs suitable for children of all ages. Ask our ushers for more information upon your arrival if it is your first time at SCBC.

Do you have a Youth program?Yes. We have a Sunday school for Youth at 9:45am (9:15am during summer time). This allows them to also participate during our regular Sunday service.

How can I join a small group?Reach out to the church leadership team on Sundays or sign up. We have several small groups to help you meet people.

Can I watch the service online?Yes. You can watch our sermons on Sundays via Livestream on Youtube and Facebook. Check out our sermon library for more.

Can I volunteer?Yes. We have many opportunities to use your gifts and serve others. Sign up and meet our team on Sundays to talk more about it.

Do you have live music?Yes. Our Praise and Worship team plays amazing uplifting music every Sunday. We play a different style each Sunday from contemporary to Jazz and classical.
