Outreach Ministry provides a welcoming place for our neighbors seeking direct service, referral, and advocacy of their basic needs.
​It is our prayer that we receive our neighbors just as they are with compassion, a listening heart, spiritual healing, and hope.
*The outreach ministries of SCBC are open to everyone, all ages! 

• Hearty Meals for All
  SCBC hosts Hearty Meals for All, which provides free homemade meals to the local community in Somerville area. Fresh and local ingredients are used for all meals. Volunteer opportunities available and donations accepted.
  Preparation for Hearty Meals: 2nd Thursday of the month at 6:00pm​, Serving Hearty Meals: 2nd Friday of the month at​ 6:30pm.

• SCBC M.A.G. (Men of the Armor of God) Annual Breakfast Fundraiser - The SCBC Men's Ministry holds an annual breakfast and comedy event to raise funds for Hearty Meals For All and to help the local community of people in need. The 2018 and 2019 events were very successful and we look forward to continuing this tradition to spread God's love throughout the community.
